We headed for Tellico Plains hoping to find a place when we got there. We tried around 6pm but no luck, we pushed on anyway.
At 8:30 we got to Tellico Plains, searched every nook and cranny, got chased by dogs, and made a quite an impression with the locals in the trailer park but no motels/hotels/ or campsites.
Finally, at 9:30 we back-tracked 12 miles to stay at Madisonville Motor Inn, we loved that place.
We've had a lot of late arrivals - we need a break soon.
