After the slaying we all needed a rest. Reactions included euphoria, stress, exhilaration, panic, excitement and fear. While leaning on a curve, Jan scraped the bottom of the bike. Also, three speed demons passed us on a double line on a curve going uphill. The road had wonderful banked corners which spoiled us for some of the roads we faced later in the day.
Pictures will be posted later, taken on the 'Tail' by "Killboy.com" and "US129photos.com" for August 3rd - we couldn't stop to take our own due to reactions mentioned above.
Wow, the trail must be as good as they say it is....I can just image the site of the back of your bikes going around the corners with the luggage boxes....The rest of the ride will seem like the Praires after this...take care..David
